Chef Gordon Ramsay heads to Charlie's Italian bistro in La Verne, southern California, where the owner's lack of business nous is putting her relatives' homes at risk, after her mother and sister put them up as collateral. To make matters worse, the restaurant's food is less than appetising and its long-serving chef seems to be incompetent

The contest begins at Wharfe House in Wetherby, run by B&B newcomer Pauline Cox, who's joined by her best friend Claire Smith. Eyebrows are raised when Mike and Karen Hepker arrive from Bath Lodge Castle in a chauffeur-driven car. During a visit to a local vineyard, sparks fly between Mike Hepker and Tash Thorne, who runs The Old Lodge Hotel in Gosport with her partner Mike Pearce. Having only just opened, Pauline has a house full for the very first time. The narrow antique beds cause concerns and Jenny and Clive Aylett from Wortwell Hall Barn in Norfolk are first to criticise breakfast. When it comes to feedback, Pauline's left deflated by her sausage scores - and Karen and Mike Hepker vote with their feet

The B&B owners visit Wortwell Hall Barn in Norfolk, run by husband-and-wife duo Clive and Jenny Aylett, but when the pair's rivals arrive, Pauline Cox and Claire Smith have difficulty locating their favourite appliance. Publicans Mike Pearce and Tash Thorne are astonished to discover they cannot lock their room's door. In the morning, some of the guest make awkward requests to change their breakfast orders, causing professional chef Clive to experience a meltdown in the kitchen that leads to a fundamental error

The contestants travel to Bath Lodge Castle in Somerset for the third day of the competition, where they are wowed by Karen and Mike Hepker's luxury castle experience. Although the guests are disappointed at the bathroom fixtures and fittings, they are given the chance to vent their emotions during an afternoon of painting in the castle grounds. Plus, tensions rise between Mike and Tash at dinner, and harsh comments at feedback lead the hosts to suspect game playing

The final visit of the week is to The Old Lodge Hotel in Gosport, Hampshire, run by publicans Mike Pearce and Tash Thorne. Karen Hepker is disappointed with the honeymoon suite, while Clive and Jenny Aylett find a dubious looking splash guard in the shower. A boat tour backfires when Jenny struggles with her water phobia and at dinner Karen takes the opportunity to tell the others exactly what she thinks of them. But things really kick off when it comes to feedback time

Wharfe House hosts Pauline Cox and Claire Smith begin a bitter debate, demanding to know why their beds caused such a sleepless night. Accusations subsequently fly in all directions and walk-outs look on the cards as tensions mount leading to the payments being revealed

The Heffernans begin attending the gym with The Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno and his wife, but Doug is less than impressed with the arrangement and makes a secret pact with the actor that enables him to relax instead of working out. Kevin James stars

Carrie reminisces about why she chose to marry Doug, but also learns some uncomfortable truths, while Danny falls for Holly after his girlfriend leaves him

Doug bumps into his erstwhile football coach while delivering a parcel to his old high school, and Arthur loses his senses of sight, hearing and speech when his eye drops go missing. Comedy, guest starring Burt Reynolds with Kevin James and Jerry Stiller

Visit three this week is to The Queen's Head Inn in Northamptonshire, where B&B novices Simon and Harriet think their old-school village pub will be a hit but the bacon gets a bashing at breakfast

At Worlington Hall in Suffolk, married couple Louis and Michael lay on luxurious interiors and take their guests for a 'mill around a mill'. Breakfast is an opulent affair and the B&Bers are left hailing their hosts. However, one pair are perturbed by Louis and Michael's lavish approach

The holiday hosts meet one final time on payment day to clash over cleanliness and spar over sleep scores, before the payments are revealed and we find out who has won

Phil is with James and Lesley, who is living with ME, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which has affected their search. Lesley's condition impacts what they need in a property and also how often they've been able to go out to viewings, so Phil shows them various options that suit their future-proofing requirements

Kirstie Allsopp catches up with Kathleen and Tom to see how far they have come with the renovations to their four-bedroom Newcastle home. The couple first appeared on the show back in 2016 when their three-bedroom Victorian terrace in Gosforth, had become a four-year Love It or List It battleground. In 2019, Phil Spencer returned and learnt that the couple had made the leap to the spacious home they now reside in
