The first visit of the week is to Inn at the Park in Aberdeen, where for owners Ronnie and Steph Caird, it's all about keeping it in the family. When the guests arrive, design-conscious father and son Steve and Allard take a trip back in time, and John isn't flushed with praise for his bathroom. At dinner, John reveals his culinary background, piling on the pressure for Ronnie to deliver a good breakfast. Fiona and Shauna's sizeable confession raises eyebrows, while in the morning, Ronnie has a breakfast to forget and the bathroom blues leave Ronnie and Steph seeking answers from their guests

The second visit of the week is to Ingliston Country Club in Renfrewshire, where events manager Shauna Kirk and sales manager Fiona Gallagher prove a force to be reckoned with. Guests Steve and Allard aren't feeling the dated décor, and John proves that one size doesn't fit all. Ronnie and Steph are blown away by the competition, but they think that perfection comes at a price

For the third visit, the group heads to 1692 Wasdale in the Lake District, where owners Steve and Allard Newell have proudly built their B&B from the ground up

The guests stay at the Lynbar Hotel in Blackpool, where Ronnie and Steph have parking problems, while confident owner John O'Donnell boasts of serving the best breakfast in town
