Back on the road they finally reach California, where they follow the path of the 49ers during the gold rush and learn about cooking with marijuana - which is perfectly legal in Los Angeles. They also enjoy the best tacos they have ever eaten at a taco festival, before reaching Santa Monica pier - the end of their trip

The Signature challenge is a savoury take on a French classic, there's a multi-layered Moroccan Technical, and a towering Showstopper that requires not only an expertise with pastry, but also a solid grasp of structural engineering.
