A chronic gambler and bigamist starts to run out of money just as his wealthy wives start turning up dead. Police suspect that he is responsible for murder, but lack of evidence force them to rule each death a suicide. The real murderer, however, is Brown's first wife Marion, who jealously wants to keep her husband all to herself.
