The celebrated chef arrives in the south-eastern town of Annecy, where he wanders around its market to select ingredients for his first cook. On the stunning shore of its crystal clear lake, James cooks dishes showcasing delicious local tomatoes, red mullet and lobster. He then visits award-winning pastry chef Philippe Rigollot to sample some of his extraordinary creations

Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig introduce a special round of the baking challenge in which contestants must create confectionery inspired by the Roaring Twenties. The signature challenge involves a decorative twist on custard pies, while the technical round will be a test of the bakers' timing and consistency. Finally, for the Shows, they must create a three-tiered masterpiece inspired by their tipple of choice.
