Part one of two. Carrie MacNeil introduces the bands competing at Grade 1 in the World Pipe Band Championships, better known as The Worlds. The show features the finest pipers and drummers from Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Canada and America. In total, 14 pipe bands competed across the two-day event on Glasgow Green. The programme features selected performances from the second day. Inveraray and District took home the title in this year, under the direction Pipe Major Stuart Liddell and Lead Drummer, Steven McWhirter.
