Ramsay explores the north of Mull. He drives a stretch of hairpin bends which form part of the Mull Rally. The event was the first in the UK granted permission to close public roads by an Act of Parliament. Then it's to colourful Tobermory where he helps out on a family run dairy farm. He milks a cow for the first time in his life and finds out about the family business producing Hebridean cheeses. Hopping on the ferry to Ardnamurchan he visits the lighthouse there at Britain's most westerly point on the mainland

Visual artist and horticulturalist Màiri Gillies plants out vegetables and flowers and visits growers at a thriving community garden in Cranhill, Glasgow. She finds out more about herbology from Catherine Conway-Payne at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and visits Sue Blair, who transformed a neglected piece of ground into a lovely mature garden on the west side of Lewis

Sweden's largest island of Gotland is known for its sunny climate and 13th century capital, Visby. Coinneach MacLeod visits an organic farm to pick white asparagus and forages for wild garlic in the coastal woodlands. He explores the island's past as a trading hub for the Hanseatic League, learning how imported spices and crops became woven into Gotland's agricultural identity. He makes saffron pancake and, in a local bakery, helps make Sweden's famed green dome cake, known as princess cake

Mary Ann Kennedy and Lucy Cooke hunt both for plants with health benefits and the ones that may prove fatal if eaten, including hemlock waterdropwort. They show how sweet cicely can be used instead of refined sugar in a crumble that they make with rhubarb from Mary Ann's neighbours in Ardgour, and also explore plants with a bad reputation that are still beneficial in some way, such as ragwort

The 12-month training session comes to an end, and the Kelpie pups have been transformed into efficient working members of the mustering pack

Mary Ann Kennedy presents traditional and roots music from Celtic Connections 2023, featuring Breabach, Madison Violet, Stina Marie Claire and Phil Campbell
