Alan Yentob visits France to introduce a film documenting the recording of the Rolling Stones' 1972 album Exile on Main Street. Having faced ruin due to the size of their unpaid tax bills, the Stones relocated to the French Riviera to make the album, before completing the recording in Los Angeles - with Mick Jagger also finding time to get married in St Tropez. Alongside rare home-movie footage of the band at work, there are also interviews with Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts
