On the fourth day in Benidorm it's the turn of Exaucé, a barber from Glasgow who thinks he has the perfect formula for fun. However, taking the plunge with a day of cable water-skiing leaves some of his guests feeling exposed, and his next bid to win at a top-dollar luxury hotel may stretch his budget to breaking-point

The competition comes from in and around Brighton, where the first host, 30-year-old medical editor and rapper Adam, serves up a simple yet wholesome and flavoursome vegetarian menu. His guests are 29-year-old copywriter Will, 65-year-old retired advertising sales director Gill, 56-year-old builder Russell and 43-year-old teacher Jo

Copywriter Will serves up a vegetarian meal on the second evening in Brighton. There's a seafood surprise over the starter, which leaves teacher Jo with fishy fingers, and Will's risotto is upstaged by a Lady and the Tramp moment between retired sales director Gill and builder Russell. Not one to be outdone, Will gets everyone up to have it large in his living room with a rendition of his own dance track

Retired advertising sales director Gill hosts the third dinner party of the week in and around Brighton, hoping to impress her guests with a Middle Eastern menu and a fun dress code. Jo, Adam, Will and a newcomer to the group, social worker Ruth, all arrive wearing hats to reflect their personalities, leading to some unexpected revelations and a chance to find out more about newcomer Ruth. Gill's cooking impresses, but it's not all plain sailing, as there's some honest feedback for her to swallow

The fourth host in and around Brighton, teacher and surfer Jo, treats her guests to an exotic, tropical-themed evening with a Thai menu. Her guests arrive in their most tropical attire, but after a confident start, with a cheeky massage thrown in for good measure, Jo's hit-and-miss food and a dessert drama leave her slightly panicked

In Brighton, the final day of the competition sees social worker Ruth try to impress her guests with her Jewish-Irish fusion menu. There's chaos in the kitchen before the guests even arrive, then after a mixed-up main and some unexpected veggies, Ruth's secret family cheesecake has her guests guessing if it lives up to the bill

The contest begins at North Bridge Street B&B in Hawick in the Scottish Borders, which is run by Eileen Walsh and her Portuguese partner Emanuel Forte. When the guests arrive, the purple-themed rooms cause a reaction, while one competitor's constant criticising irritates another

The contest continues at the Golden Fleece in Ruleholme, Cumbria, run by chef Robert Cowan and his partner, Sylvia Spark. Before long, guests Eileen and Emmanuel pick up on cleanliness issues, and breakfast proves to be a disappointment

The contestants travel to the Bubble Inn in Stenson, Derbyshire for the third day of the competition, where unsightly stains and security leave some of them less than impressed. Manager and ex-semi-professional boxer Connie Eleftheriou is keen to take his rivals in the ring with him, however the real damage happens when Emmanuel is taken to hospital after some overenthusiastic dancing at a Greek-themed night

Melinda Beckett-Hughes is the final host of the week at Ayuda House in Greater Manchester - and as she has spent the week picking fault, the guests expect perfection from her. However, Robert and Sylvia are shocked to find a dirty towel in a drawer, while Emmanuel and Eileen cannot believe the levels of dust and Connie is horrified by the carpet

The B&B owners meet for the last time to find out what they have been paid and settle some old scores. Eileen and Emmanuel from North Bridge Street want to get to the bottom of Melinda and Stewart's dirty bin comments as well as challenging Melinda's shower issues. Robert and Sylvia from the Golden Fleece try to defend their breakfast disaster, but also pull Eileen and Emmanuel up on their low score
