The three semi-finalists upgrade lakeside holiday lodges in the heart of the Cotswolds, each of which includes an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space and an outside terrace. The buildings are decidedly beige, giving the designers a blank canvas to work on - and knowing they are only one week away from the final they really go to town, with schemes ranging from bold primary colours inspired by a classic 1980s movie to a sophisticated monochrome look.
