In the first episode of a new series, Paul Murton explores the lochs of Skye. He hears tales of legendary battles, and learns about the mythical female Celtic warrior and sorceress Scathach, before having a lesson in spear throwing. Later, he discovers a Viking ship canal, and stands on the roof of the Cuillins

With the days getting shorter and the nights cooler George Anderson and Calum Clunie are at the stage of reviewing some of the planting projects they started in the Spring at Beechgrove. A new addition was Calum's family plot, based on the size of a standard garden of a new-build property, this week he is harvesting and assessing just how productive that area has been. George and Calum will be in the trials bed and comparing how the various club root resistant varieties of brassica have performed after that infection was found in this area of the garden. The pair will also be visiting the grass garden that was completely overhauled and replanted at the start of the series. There are visits to Beechgrove regulars Jenna McDonald at her allotment in Perth and Colin Crosbie's plot just outside Dumfries, as well as the week's handy hints

Following Scotland's first wheelchair-using racing driver, Ally Chalmers, as he prepares for his debut season in the ModSports Championship at Knockhill Racing Circuit - a mixed-class event in which he will share the track with cars much more powerful than his own. Ally's mechanic Scott has built him a customised Mini race car fitted with hand controls but technical gremlins and mechanical misalignments spark concern as to whether it will be race-ready by the start of the season

The actor and his friend, TV presenter Phil MacHugh, get immersed in modern Norway as they travel almost 2,000 miles along the length of Scotland's nearest Scandinavian neighbour. They begin in the vibrant capital city of Oslo, have a crash course in roller skiing at Holmenkollen, the country's centre for skiing excellence, and do their bit for Scottish-Norwegian relations when they meet Norway's youngest MP, Maren Grothe, at the Norwegian parliament

Martin and Phil MacHugh celebrate Norway's National Day with Scots who have made Bergen home, marching in the parade and meeting members of the Bergen Scottish Society. Phil and Martin also head out to sea as they work as deck hands for fisherman Morten Glesnes and his son Rasmus, and get a taste of the logging life with lumberjacks Lars and Sigurd in the dense forest of Vestland county

Documentary following the singer as she embarks on an emotional pilgrimage from Glasgow to Rome to perform a newly written hymn in front of an audience including Pope Leo XIV at the Palace of Castel Gandolfo. The programme shows Michelle recording the hymn in Scotland, reconnecting with the Catholic faith of her childhood, and finally stepping onto the world stage in Italy
