Cameras follow old friends Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer as they embark on an angling trip round the UK. The first stop is Norfolk, and while fishing for tench, Bob tries to impress Paul with his childhood fishing rod - and fails. They share nostalgia for their younger years and reveal how they recently came face to face with their own mortality due to heart disease

Paul and Bob fish for barbel in Hay-on-Wye, and sample the great outdoors in spectacular fashion when Mortimer decides to strip in celebration of their catch. Passing a graveyard, they muse about the future and chat to a local vicar about death and their own funerals. To lighten the mood, back in their wooden fishing cabin, Bob promises Paul a very special treat if they are successful with their angling efforts

Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness each buy a sporty insurance write-off for £6,000 and take part in three challenges at the test track before they're ordered to make their cars road legal and report to Alexandra Palace, where the producers have constructed a monstrous Wall of Death. The trio also celebrate the era of the 200mph supercar by going on a road trip in a Ferrari F40, a Lamborghini Diablo and a Jaguar XJ220

Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness head to Cyprus on a budget rental car adventure and sample the exciting sport of car water-skiing. Back at the test track, Chris and Paddy check out family cars from Audi and Lamborghini

While serving the couple breakfast, Alison realises that they are not enjoying their break and, fearing a bad review, utilises the surprising skills of Lady Button and Julian to ensure the pair make the most of their weekend away. Thomas is perplexed yet secretly thrilled by the sudden attention from the Plaguers, who, after admiring Alison's discarded portrait of him are now affording him celebrity status in Button House, hanging on to his every word. The spooks' thoughtless behaviour sends Alison into meltdown, prompting them to come up with a creative way to get back into her good books and show her how truly sorry they are. Mary however, believing she has done nothing wrong, refuses to take any responsibility, not after the fiery fate that befell her the last time she took the blame for something she didn't do. Alison and Mike have a last-minute cancellation for the guesthouse and decide that a relaxing day off is exactly what they need. A shocking revelation throws the Ghosts into disarray. Alison and Mike discover their neighbour has been scheming behind their backs - his outlandish tactics threatening the success of their guesthouse business. Mike attempts to mix things up for future guests at the gatehouse by secretly investing in some not-so-cheap entertainment that Alison will definitely not approve of. Meanwhile, the Captain makes a discovery, leading the other ghosts to find a surprising new friend
