In West London, Scott and a team, including 10 police officers, are removing squatters from a council-owned building in which they've been living for nearly a year. Over in the West Midlands, Lewis has his sights on squatters in a residential property and when he gains entry the smell and chaos eventually force him out again. It might be empty of people, but it's full of rubbish

Robert, 79, is airlifted to Clydebank's Golden Jubilee University National Hospital following a heart attack and Dr Stuart Hood and his team must quickly find and release the blockage in the patient's narrowed artery that is starving his heart of blood and oxygen. Seventeen-year-old Katie had a heart transplant, but suffered a series of life-threatening complications post-transplant and has been in ICU for 106 days, while Daniel, 63, had major surgery five years ago to replace a heart valve, but a devastating bacterial infection is causing his heart to fail

Patients include Joseph, a former heroin user trying to wean himself off methadone, who is now confined to a wheelchair after injuring his back many years ago. Dr Shazia Javed sits down with bird enthusiast Leslie, who is now struggling to breathe because of his winged friends, with his long-term exposure to the animals leaving him with a debilitating condition known as 'bird fancier's lung'

A mini-heatwave results in an influx of patients at Barnsley Hospital. 50-year-old Mark is rushed into the emergency department after an accident involving a garden shredder, while three-year-old Ophelia is brought in by her dad after a mishap with a sun cream bottle. Elsewhere, doctors treat 64-year-old Melvin, who suffers from the incurable lung condition COPD, and 27-year-old Jack is assessed after collapsing at work
