Derbyshire officers battle a surge in car crime across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire, with 10 police units from two forces pursuing a gang of suspected car thieves using fake registration plates to steal high-powered vehicles. On the M1, officers apprehend the driver of a stolen vehicle at a motorway services and discover he is carrying a selection of dangerous knives, with identity checks revealing the man is wanted for a serious assault and robbery

A dangerous driver fails to stop for officers for more than forty-five minutes and when the vehicle goes off road, three men make a run for it. Officers are also forced to pursue another driver, who has already failed to stop for the police. After losing sight of the car, police search the area and find the vehicle abandoned before arresting a suspect close by

A look at how Derbyshire's road crime team target criminals who supply or deal drugs or drive under the influence of narcotics. Officers target the suspected trafficking of drugs in a taxi, arresting two men and a cab driver and questioning them about intelligence linking them to supply of crack cocaine. An armed-response unit calls for backup to assist with the pursuit of a car thought to be linked to an armed burglary, but it turns out to be more of a suspected drugs run as the driver is suspected of dumping a bag of drugs as he abandons the car and attempts to run away from the chasing officers

Officers are on the hunt for a transit van taken without keys from a driveway, but with the suspects changing number plates to disguise the stolen vehicle, tracking it down becomes much harder. Following a tip-off about a suspected disqualified driver, police search for and arrest the driver of a van who, when questioned, says he has no recollection of being disqualified

An arrest snowballs into a firearms stand-off for Damo, while Spike uncovers a stash of cannabis stored with shotguns and police dog Ronnie lands right on top of a wanted man. Ben chases a runaway driver, and Paul catches a hit-and-run culprit, who then kicks off in his car
