A body is found in the bayou and is identified as naval counterintelligence officer William Reed, who Wade and Lund ascertain had been waterboarded and then dumped. The discovery of fungus on Reed's fingers points the team to a house belonging to the victim's brother-in-law Oliver Huntington, but he has no recollection of purchasing any property.
