Arthur Williams discovers how the people of East Anglia prepared for German invasion, planting mines on the tourist beach at Great Yarmouth building concrete defences and exploding riverbanks at Leiston

Ben travels to the canyons of Utah to meet 72-year-old twins Bill and Bob Stone, who fled their adrenaline-junkie pasts for a tough subsistence lifestyle as they also deal with the challenges associated with growing old. He joins the brothers as they go cattle-wrangling, rock climbing and skydiving, while Ben also discovers more about them and why they decided to cut themselves off from civilisation. Once parachute instructors, police informants and bounty hunters, they are now organic farmers who are preparing for doomsday

In Macclesfield's Silk Museum, Bea and Ruth take on the challenge to design and produce silk using centuries-old equipment and techniques - something that hasn't been attempted in 40 years. And glass artist Jennifer Baker creates a new wall sculpture for a local restaurant

The presenter visits a ninja to learn about his world. Crawling stealthily through forests of bamboo, Jane learns how to swing a sword, and undergoes some of their rigorous and secret training. No trip to Japan would be complete without sampling sake, and Jane also heads to the famous Tsukiji market to enjoy some wine as well as eating local sushi
