The heroes in a half shell come to terms with their new roles as saviours of New York City in an animated series set shortly after the events chronicled in the film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Donatello (voiced by Micah Abbey), Leonardo (Nicolas Cantu), Michelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr) and Raphael (Brady Noon) experience the usual growing pains of teenagers while contending with the media spotlight. Building on their friendship with aspiring reporter April O'Neil (Ayo Edebiri), the reptilian quartet face brilliant inventor Bishop (Alanna Ubach), who believes mutants are the greatest danger facing humankind and must be eliminated.
