Former mechanic and motor racing enthusiast Ray bought his Sunbeam Alpine over 20 years ago as a retirement project. Ray was always an active cyclist and skier, but after he sustained a brain injury six years ago he was left with severe disabilities. Knowing how much the car means to Ray, Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend use all their motoring know-how and parts-blagging guile to get the 1960s vehicle back on the road

Car enthusiast Tim Shaw and master mechanic Fuzz Townshend take on a 1934 Singer Le Mans two-seater sports car, which had its last outing in 1998. Once the repairs are complete, Tim and Fuzz take the car to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford to reunite it with its owner, 70-year-old farmer John from Cambridgeshire
