A tree surgeon falls from height in Ashdon, breaking his femur. A motorbike accident in the Peaks sees medics rushing to the aid of Jamie, who has a seriously damaged arm and other fractures

One of the Queen's Medical Centre's own staff members is admitted after being knocked off her mountain bike. As one of the longest serving members of the A&E team, Lou's colleagues and close friends are concerned she may have serious internal bleeding as well as severe injuries to her shoulder and wrist. Doctors prepare to realign the bones of 57-year-old Stuart, who is in resus with a severely fractured and dislocated ankle, having fallen from a ladder

The contest begins at the King's Head in Addlethorpe, Lincolnshire, where landlady Helen Coy and her bar manager and best friend Emma Green are pulling out all the stops to win. The B&B owners are taken back to their childhood at the funfair, At dinner, B&B beginners Louise and Andy Macbeth rattle nerves when Louise reveals her past career as a hospitality journalist - leaving pub veteran Helen less than impressed

B&B newcomers Andy and Louise Macbeth invite their rival hoteliers to spend the night at the dog-friendly Beck Hall in North Yorkshire, where an extra-critical Helen and Emma discover what they believe to be stray dog hairs in their bed. A fishing trip makes Terri feel a little out of sorts, and when the time arrives for feedback, the managers are surprised to learn two of their guests have indicated they would not come back for a second stay

The contestants travel to the Albaston in Torquay for the third day of the competition, where they are welcomed by owners and avid souvenir collectors, Kevin and Julie Shadbolt. Terri and Stuart are impressed by their room, but are startled by the memorabilia in the communal lounge, and expectations are raised at dinner when Kevin reveals he has a secret recipe for success when it comes to breakfast. However, at feedback the next day, tensions begin to rise

The final stay of the week is in Bournemouth, at Terri and Stewart's specialist dance holiday venue the Hotel Piccadilly, where a class in the grand ballroom soon has the guests in a spin. However, temperatures rise over dinner when the simmering tension between Louise and Helen finally boils over

The owners meet up for the last time to find out what they've been paid and to settle some scores. King's Head landlady Helen challenges Louise and Andy about the problems they reported on cleanliness in the bathroom. while Louise and Andy from Beck Hall get hot under the collar when the others criticise their dog-friendly approach

The week kicks off at 38 St Giles in Norwich, where guests enjoy a historic afternoon at the city's cathedral, and breakfast is a roaring success for everyone but one

Harry and Sarah hope to wow their guests with their recently renovated pub The Royal Oak in Hawkhurst, Kent. Unfortunately, the style doesn't match one B&Ber's standards. After an afternoon on the beers at a microbrewery, moods are high but some pernickety furniture feedback brings Harry and Sarah back down to earth with a bump

The B&Bers head to Tiddington in Oxfordshire for the week's third visit, where Dawn hosts at her country pub, The Fox & Goat. The facilities seem to be flawless, leaving one guest determined to find some faulty furniture. There's another historic afternoon out, this time with a tour around Blenheim Palace. All that walking should have the B&Bers knackered and ready for bed - so why does one of them have such a restless night?

The final visit of the week is to No 64 at The Joiners in West Malling, Kent. Host Ollie hopes that his French-styled B&B will have that 'je-ne-sais-quoi' to win the competition. The guests monkey around at a zoo in the afternoon before things get heated in the kitchen the next morning. The heat rises even further when Ollie sees his breakfast scores

It's payment day, and after an epic battle all week, the contenders meet up one final time to find out which boutique B&B has triumphed

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are in Northern Ireland where Jennifer has hit a wall climbing the property ladder after selling her semi-detached starter home in Belfast and Tony and Val are looking to relocate from London to County Down

Phil Spencer comes to the aid of Michael - better known as former Olympian Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards - who together with partner Karen is seeking a dream home in Berkshire. The trouble is, they've already viewed 100 houses in 18 months and are getting desperate. Kirstie Allsopp helps first-time buyers Orla and Luke in Hampshire. They've already lost one house they loved but Kirstie knows of another that could be a winner. However, another couple are keen and they are due in 15 minutes, so a speedy viewing is in order

Penny from Staffordshire searches for a new home where she can run her business in Malaga. Laura Hamilton lines up five great options for her budget of £120,000

Retired pair Dawn and Les from Basingstoke, Hampshire, want to relocate to sunny south-east Cyprus, where they're looking for a townhouse or bungalow that all four generations of their family can enjoy.
