Paul and Suki are in the Peak District on their UK staycation adventure in their trusty motorhome. The first morning finds them in a campsite north of Bakewell, and they debate who should empty the on-board loo. Later, Suki reveals they are swapping four wheels for two after hiring bikes on the nearby Monsal Trail, a disused former railway line

Paul and Suki visit Norfolk for the final leg of their UK tour. Their first stop-off is Great Yarmouth's quieter neighbour, Gorleston-on-Sea. Paul and Bob are on the River Severn in Worcestershire to fish for zander, and enlist the help of local guide Tim Maslen to find the best spots. Paul takes Bob on a steam train to the north of England to search for a prized English salmon, fishing in the rivers Eden and Tyne in search of their elusive quarry. They are joined on the riverbank by former footballer Paul Gascoigne, who has also always dreamt of catching a salmon, while Dr Anand Patel has a chat with Bob about how to look out for the more vulnerable at Christmastime

Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer head to the River Exe in Devon, where they fish for summer grilse, and a trip to the beach sees them try their hand at shore fishing. Away from the fishing, Bob finds a shady corner to prepare a vegan lunch for them both, using a special blend of car meat, and as the day draws to a close they head back to their accommodation and enjoy a game of cricket on the lawn, in which Bob proves himself to be surprisingly agile

Bob and Paul travel to the Crogen Estate in north Wales to fish the River Dee for grayling, a fish that has so far eluded Paul on their extensive travels. They fish hard on a secluded private estate, with Bob displaying some very balletic moves in the river while Paul tries hard to concentrate on landing the prized fish. While Paul continues to fish, Bob decides to set up a bijou coffee shop to refresh his friend
