A cook from a US Navy destroyer tells McGee and Gibbs he believes someone is stalking him with the intention of trying to make him poison the crew, and a picture on a stolen phone leads the team to a group testing the psychological effects of surveillance. The team investigates when Navy Seal Chad McBride's wife receives a package from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia containing her husband's severed head, which Palmer discovers contains very high levels of radiation. McBride's commanding officer reveals the soldier was on a top-secret reconnaissance mission and asks Vance not to disclose the details to anyone. Meanwhile, Richard Parsons tries to get Gibbs to take responsibility for the many unnecessary deaths for which he holds the NCIS team accountable

The American crime drama returns with the team still reeling from the Department of Defence investigation, with Ziva, McGee and Tony having handed in their badges. Parsons continues his inquiries into Gibbs and his agents, but events take a turn when an explosion kills the Secretary of the US Navy and seriously injures the director of Homeland Security. A Russian immigrant dies of ricin poisoning and the detectives' inquiries link him and his brother to a prostitution ring trafficking young women into New York. A police officer whose daughter was among the girls is the main suspect, but Green and Cassady face difficulties with the Russian consulate

The detectives investigate the abduction and murder of a child, following a lead to a suspected serial paedophile, who is found holding another boy captive. However, the youngster seems to be more than just an innocent victim. Crime drama, starring Sam Waterston and Jesse L Martin

The deaths of two homeless men within a day of each other prompts Green and Cassady to investigate a possible connection between the cases.
