Ecuador v Germany (Kick-off 9.00pm). Kelly Cates presents coverage of the Group E match at New York/New Jersey Stadium in the USA. This will be the third overall meeting between these nations, and their second as part of a group stage at a World Cup after previously being drawn alongside each other at the 2006 tournament in Germany. Die Mannschaft were 3-0 winners on that occasion courtesy of a brace from Miroslav Klose and one from Lukas Podolski, which was also the final clash of the group stage, and resulted in both teams progressing to the knockout stage with Germany topping the table and La Tricolor finishing second. That remains the one and only time the South Americans have qualified from a World Cup group stage, so they will come into this clash hoping to have gained enough points from their games against Curaçao and Ivory Coast to put them in with a chance of reaching the last-32, knowing the four-time champions will begin as favourites. Tunisia v Netherlands (Kick-off 12.00am). Alex Scott presents coverage of the Group F match at Kansas City Stadium in the USA. This is the first-ever competitive match between these nations, with all three previous encounters in 1978, 1994 and 2009 being friendly matches. The Eagles of Carthage will attempt to progress beyond the group stage for the first time in their history, having failed to do so at all six of their previous World Cup appearances, while Oranje will hope to continue their streak of always progressing to the knockout phase whenever a group stage has been part of the format. The Dutch are playing under the tutelage of Ronald Koeman, who is currently enjoying his second spell in charge of the national team after also having starred for them as a player, winning 78 caps and featuring at the 1990 and 1994 World Cups, the latter of which took place in the USA.
