In November 2022, more than two years after the cancellation of Criminal Minds, the long-running series tracing the exploits of FBI profilers assigned to the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) was revived as Criminal Minds: Evolution. A second series welcomes back Zach Gilford as diabolical serial killer Elias Voit aka Sicarius, who has cultivated a network of murderous acolytes to terrorise the BAU team at Quantico, Virginia, spearheaded by Supervisory Special Agent David Rossi (Joe Mantegna).
