Kevin McCloud returns to Cornwall to see former skydivers Leigh and Richard's progress on the transformation of a derelict 17th century flour mill into a four storey, three-bedroom home. The pair fell in love with the building back in 2017 and put their lives on hold to move 250 miles to live in a caravan on site while they renovated the building, giving themselves just 12 months and a £250,000 budget. Once work began the true scale of the damage to the building was revealed and the couple were forced to pay out unexpected bills and take on a lot of the work load themselves. When the pandemic hit, the mission to finish the mill became an all-consuming affair but by January 2021 they still weren't finished
